La Locomotive, a unique and dynamic third place located in the heart of Poitiers.

La Locomotive is a space where creativity and community meet, offering a friendly bar car, a restaurant with various flavors, a woodworking workshop, and spaces dedicated to dance and music. It is a shared living space where every corner invites exploration and discovery. From craft to art, from relaxation to entertainment, La Locomotive is more than a space, it is an experience, a collective adventure where everyone is invited to participate, learn and flourish.

La Locomotive shines not only for its cultural and artistic diversity, but also for its unique cooperative model as a SCIC (Cooperative Society of Collective Interest). This model reflects our commitment to participatory and inclusive management. Our members are a representative mosaic of our community: local associations, companies, the nearby design school, committed citizens and our own employees.
